A long time friend/mentor/guru often told me there was "prudence in procrastinating". Could be, or is it the wisdom of divine intersection. You know a time and space crossroads allowing a happening . . . like the intersection in a Chinese coin, forever firmly round yet with an empty square center. Perhaps it's both prudence and intersection.
Look what I found lurking all dusty and abandoned for over a year in the draft queues of my online shops . . . my collaboration with metal artist Vickey Wheeler. Centered, well reposed, and oh so eager for light. As I blew off the dust, they spoke intensely riveting words only now fully understood.
While holding these 'tiny quiets', I heard "refining fire, changing times, pull to center, warrior, heart ache, enlivened fibers, reflecting metals, troubled waters, pulsing stones". Since antiquity during dire times women have created handwork to energize and propel change. Now from my secret garden emerge activated symbols, 'tiny quiets' yet mighty breastplates . . . ready to serve . . . ready to be worn by women rising to change . . . !
